I see the beginning of what this series will be. The events of part two end in a cliffhanger, with certain events changing Brian’s life completely (as if becoming a demon wasn’t life altering enough lol). This is probably the first gay erotica I’ve read that’s had a drawn out and very detailed hetro sex scene. While I’m not complaining it did surprise me out of the story - with Brian still identifying as straight it makes sense, I probably would’ve enjoyed it much more if it had been a certain sexy Italian demon I’ve come to love. All in all still 5 stars and I’m eager to read the next part.
OMG this is quite the listen. Michael O'Shea does an incredible job narrating. I could listen to him all day long. I have read all of Nicholas Bella's books and he does such an amazing job with his characters and his darkness will leave you panting. You put both these men together and there are no words just lots of heavy breathing.Brian is trying to come to terms with sleeping with a man, becoming a demon, dealing with the antics of a king and trying to stay true to himself.I've never listened to audio before but I love listening to these in my car to and from work. Thanks to both these men for the excitement and pleasure that being in my car now gives me.
Belated review - better late than never. I started reading this series some time ago, but never managed to go back to write my review. My only excuse was that, honestly, I couldn't put my kindle down long enough to do so. With each page, I'm sucked further into the Demon Gate world of complex characters written so brilliantly by Nicholas Bella. He has become another of my auto 1-click authors on release day, no matter what. Luckily, at the time I read Initiated, books 3 an 4 were also out, which gave me the chance to read them back to back. I've happily become addicted to the intensely hot sex scenes between Brian and Rafael. Can't wait to get my next fix!
It's no wonder Nicholas Bella is one of my favorite authors. Nicholas writes such complex characters and original stories that get you hooked. This installment of his Demon Gate series has Brian starting to accept his new life and he's leaning towards giving in to his desires. Now not only does he have his mate Raphael to deal with but a new powerful demon named Adriel. Brian is also realizing he has so much more to learn and that he may not be as invincible as he thought. Can't wait for Episode 3!!!
This is book 2 (episode 2) of this series. All of they are novelettes and range from about 75-85 pages. This one follows newly made Brian, as he tries to juggle understanding what he is, what he’s capable of, dealing with a Demon King, his every day job, and his mate. The man is stretched thin. Now he has a secret society to add to his list. This is a very creative and addicting world that Nicholas has created. I’m very interested in seeing where it goes.
I accidentally came across one of Nicholas Bella books back in April when I switched from the nook to kindle. That book was Embraced Chained in Darkness season one of the New Haven Series which was free. I got hooked than. I just love his style of writing and his sexy characters . Nicholas Bella has become my favorite author when It comes to Dark Gay Paranormal Erotica. With that said Nicholas did it again with Initiated Loved this book and the series so far and I know it's just going to keep getting better with each book.
