Maeve Grace O’Malley lost her mother at the age 13. Maeve had awake dreams of a pirate queen from a young age. Her grandparents raised her to age 18. Maeve then went to Ireland to find her roots. On the airplane she met Michell and they became best friends. Maeve met Roth at a club and started dating. Michelle met Declan and dated. When in an awake dream much like a trance is called a Antonia. Maeve was called back to Boston because her grandfather ended up having cancer and wasn’t expecting to live long. Maeve spent time telling her grandfather stories of her findings of the pirate queen and the O’ Malley’s. Grandfather told her to find a key in a jar in the shed and unlock a secret door in the statue of St. Brendan in their garden. Her grandmother gave her a chain with a ring on it. Grandfather passed and not long after Grandmother passed. Maeve retrieved the key and unlocked the door in the statue. She found another key wrapped in leather. Maeve returned to Ireland and now in love with Paul McGratt a descendant of Hugh DeLacy the pirate queens true love. With the key from the statue the pirate queen and Hugh were put into a tomb. Once in Lynch’s club the pirate queen visited and Paul and Rory both saw that she put the ring on Maeve’s finger. Now Maeve was the new Chieftain of the O’Malley as Rory was Chieftain of the MacMahon. They both wanted so many things for their clans. They were always at wits end. Then Maeve realized she could imagine being in the past and actually went to the past. She found she was the pirate queens daughter and they fought side by side. Maeve met Ri in the past and fell in love with him. Between Maeve and Ri they convinced the O’Malley’s and the MacMahon’s to unite. Maeve stayed in the past with Ri where her true life was supposed to be which with the past changed the future became a better place for the O’Malley’s and the MacMahon’s.
So much fun! I would rather escape into a book any day to get away from all the bs going on in this messed up world. Thanks!
