Great book and well written. The intro, conclusion, and excerpt into each chapter is intriguing. You get a glimpse of who she is as a chef and why she chose cannabis cuisine. She makes you think about cannabis food differently beyond brownies and the high. On top of that the book is full of beautiful pictures and simple recipes that you can prepare infused or not. Try to the Cod Cake Sandwiches on page 107. Simple and delicious.
Chef Drummer covered all the basis with this book. From calculations and base oils to sections of international recipes and vegan options. I really LOVE the “business of brunch†section because that’s my favorite meal of the day... especially when it’s infused!If you already like cooking with cannabis, or if you’re just getting started, Cannabis Cuisine is the perfect go to book. I’ve only just begun to use the recipes, but i have a feeling I’ll be a hit at this year’s holiday gatherings!(The photo is the Soft Scrambled Eggs w/Broccolini... to die for!)
I do like it I don’t have to use cannabis these recipes. Beautiful pictures inside. The cover doesn’t do this book justice. The The recipes are easy to follow and run the gamut from simple to elegant. Photos give you the excellent idea for plating. I start with dessert but I will be trying other recipes in the book.
With a contemporary approach and classical training, Chef Drummer elevates the still mysterious realm of cannabis edibles from the stereotypical to approachable fine dining. I appreciated the narrative as well as her scrumptious recipes and enticing photographs. I look forward to more from Chef Drummer! ♡

This cookbook primarily relies on a few pages of relatively standard extracts (infused butter, oil, etc) as the basis for its recipes. The recipes themselves are solid, but cannabis largely seems like an afterthought.
This may officially have become my new favorite cookbook. The recipes are not just some super basic found in every other cookbook type of recipes. I will be testing the methods and making a few of the dishes this weekend, but I am very impressed. I bought the book just to add to my onslaught of random cookbooks... very happy purchase.
